YT-2000 (CORT)

The YT-2000 is one of the three flyable Corellian transports. Although only average fast, it has the biggest defense of all craft: more than triple GUN shields and almost triple Y-W hull. 2 turrets can fire linked to forward position assisting your 1 Laser Cannon or 1 Ion Cannon. However, you can't link lasers and ions. You'll want to assist the turrets your front fire as setting it to defensive fire mode (even backwards but not that precise) on any nearest opponent in range will make you quickly outrun of energy for the Laser resp. Ion Cannon. Jumping into the turret and let the YT-2000 be flown by autopilot is not a good choice either as the AI won't evade any enemy fire.
